The craps payout chart below shows various payout statistics such as what kind of craps bets, true odds, payout odds and the total house edge after everything has been calculated through. Note that these payout odds in the chart listed below are not the same in every casino or on all craps tables. Some casinos may have different odds which perhaps may be better or worse than the odds shown in the payout chart. For more detailed information about each specific bet, please visit our page on how to play craps and browse through the craps bets menu.

This craps payout chart is also a great tool if you are just starting to learn the craps strategy. That way you can see all of the odds displayed in one table and you'll be able to decide which bets are better than others. You can see why the free odds bet is such a great one and why some of the proposition bets are terrible. My advice is to study this information or at least glance at it to find good strategies.
By paying out according to the true odds against, the Odds bet in craps carries a house edge of exactly 0.00 percent – making it one of the only neutral expectation wagers in any casino. Of course, you’ll have to put a Pass Line or Don’t Pass Line bet up beforehand, which serves to return the house’s precious edge on the combined wager. The fundamental bet in craps is the pass line bet, which is a bet for the shooter to win. This bet must be at least the table minimum and at most the table maximum. If the come-out roll is 7 or 11, the bet wins. If the come-out roll is 2, 3 or 12, the bet loses (known as 'crapping out'). If the roll is any other value, it establishes a point. Casinos in Las Vegas for example will allow players to wager 10x, 50x and even 100x odds bets. The rule of thumb is this: The more money you bet on the odds bet, the lower the house edge becomes in your overall pass/come bet that you originally made. The odds bet itself pays out true odds, meaning there is a 0% (yes zero) house edge. Come Through with Craps Don’t Come Bet; There is also the Whirl bet introducing a fusion between the Horn bet and the Any Seven bet – a territory reserved for the people considering themselves experienced in the craps gaming world. It comes with five wagers placed simultaneously on 2, 3, 7, 10, as well as 11. Once again, only one of these.

As you can see from the payout table, there are many bets that sound exotic and arcane but they really aren't that good, even though they may sound like the 'secret' bets that no one knows about. Really the only good ones are the pass line or don't pass in conjunction with the free odds bets. There are a few other decent ones as well. The trick to know is that when the house edge is a very low percentage, then the bet is a good one.
Also remember the fact that the number 7 is rolled more often than any other number. The 2 and 12 (snake eyes and box cars) are rolled the least and have low probabilities of coming out. You can read about this in our odds and probabilities page if you would like to understand the concept behind this. Craps Strategies That Work
The Small, Tall, and All Bets are a popular series of wagers that casinos began offering a few years ago. Because these bets can be made in $1 increments and have huge payouts, even disciplined craps players are known to place these wagers at times. In fact, the assembled gamblers often keep track of these bets when this wager has been placed. Some gamblers cheer when rare bets on another gambler’s checklist is rolled, even if that same roll means their bet loses.
Each of these wagers is separate, so I’ll discuss each in its turn. The Small/Tall bets are similar to the Hi/Lo bets in other games, where the wager is placed on high and low numbers
